These sure look like stock D16z6 pistons to me. The only difference is they have a .50 marking in the center of the piston. Are these just the stock ones? I thought I was buying arias 9.0:1 pistons with a .02 overbore. Did I get screwed? The buyer was a good guy and he'll probably give me my $ back. He wasn't 100% sure what he was selling.

yep you got screwed... those are stock pistons can tell by the P28 marking on them and the arrow. those are not arias pistons.... they might be stock but with a .5 bigger bore on them but kinda hard to tell from pics... but they are stock pistons

Let's hope he's a "good" guy and refunds your money.

I really don't see that happening. How are you going to be a good person, and "accidently" ship someone some stock pistons.
you got screwed man.

I bought them because they were a super good deal and he had some good vouches, guys i had seen around here a lot. We'll see, i didn't pay a terrible amount. He wasn't sure on the overbore sizing but said he they were arias pistons. Yea yea, you'll say that whole thing about a deal being too good to be true, but sometimes you just get a break. I didn't though.

Only OEM parts will have the codes stamped on them. Damn...you got jipped whether he was a good guy or not. Next time, buy your internal parts and any other parts from a reputable dealer/shop. I purchased my WISECO pistons from Race Engineering (Florida). They have been around for a good while now and the guys who answers the phones are very helpful and knowledgable.

Doug294 (9:12 AM 10/9/2004): Hey sup checkin my e-mail from a travelers lounge computer. Those are not stock pistons no way no how. I even took them to my machine shop and let them look at them and he said that they were aftermarket pistons. (I did this after I came back and Redline was closed and everything was gone) Like I said I'm no motor genius, but I know those are not stock. If they are then we have both been had cause thats what mine looked like. The cell number for the owner is 256-720-0090. I've tried to call, but he won't answer.

I don't know what I was thinking. I always get pics before buying anything but I didn't this time. My brain just turned off for a little while.

I hope he spits on it first...cause you're getting fucked
send the box back to him with some dog **** in it and leave him the worst feedback you can imagine. Use words like WARNING, SCAMMER, CROOK, ect. that will damper his ebay sales.
