thermostat temps, what are you running?
just a simple question. what temp thermostats are you guys running.
i have a 180 and a 190....which one to put in?

I only use and recommend OEM.
I suppose you could use the 180 with no problem though, but I hate it when cars come for tuning that have either no thermostat, or the spoon/mugen pieces of crap, the car never gets warm, and I prefer to tune cars between 180-190 deg F, so that I don't have the ecu applying any strange ECT corrections on me..

well last summer i ran the 180 and temps usually stayed right below 190 unless i was racing. and then i put the 190 in it for over the winter and it stayed about 190-191 degrees according to hondata. just debating whether or not to mess with putting the 180 back in for the summer.

according to my manuals oem is 195 F

well after driving it today when it was 70 degrees it was running over 200 just cruising around. and around 192 with fan on and heater on. im gonna put the 180 back in for summer.
