How do you know that the thermostat is not opening "under load"? Do you have a little camera in there?

Ive had Issues with the Cheap thermostats from Autozone, Advanced, Pep boys.. all those part stores ive had issues with it. i got a OEM honda one and it worked like a charm. Friend has a Mugen one and it is just as good. just more expensive

its installed correctly.
with the pin up also.
nothing is blocked, cause when i idle it to warm it opens and the car is able to drive.

This sounds like your waterpump blades are shot...No circulation will cause that lower hose to be cold just like your describing...
How old is the waterpump?

it seems to be circulating fine, my heater works great and if i pull a hose at idle its pumping good.
also i sed that if i let it idle, thermo opens and then i can drive it anywhere i want. but if i take it on the road cold. it will not open.
i am gonna put in another thermostat today and see what happens.

Re: (shortyz21)
imma pull the water pump out as a last resort.
the OEM thermostat worked a bit better but it did the same thing irractically.

Re: (PyroProblem)
i ended up running straight water in my system for 6 months, heres what hapened:
the fins on the water pump got little dimples of rust on them, and i believe this was causing cavitation of the water pump at higher RPM/temperature.
i replaced it all and finally i replaced my water pump and it solved the problem.
moral of the story, always run a little bit of antifreeze in the rad to keep that **** from rusting.
THE END!
