yup, they actually do have a HKS turbo kit for integs. its ball bearing too. its not as expensive in the beginning ($2000)... but when you slap the intercooler to the kit... it is. its a small turbo, too. i was gonna get it before i got slapped in the face and realized i wanted more power with a hybrid turbo for that amount of money.

Its crap!! Turbine is too small and no IC...Even HKS says that 20-30hp is th average expected gain from their kit...weak!! Go Fmax!!

Why does all of the carb legal stuff have to suck. Best bet for now is greddy, but I want something in the power range of fmax or drag. 270whp sounds good. I have to pass visual. Has drag or Fmax considered trying for carb exemption.

if it's carb certified, it's prolly still gonna get you a world of hassles at smog time, and getting pulled over for a looksee... they will give you just as much **** as one that is not CARB... remember, they don't care about the rules anymore than we do...

i agree with GSRwBOOST. police who pull over fixed up imports dont give a fock about the laws these days. they interpret it their own way. i can name so many situations where people had "legal" shiet in their car and they still had to take it to the smog referee and get it fixed. if youre gonna get a turbo kit, GET A REAL TURBO KIT! smog legal, smog illegal... same shiet in their eyes. as long as your car is modified... its ILLEGAL.

This sucks. I know there are a lot of people in Cali with the Drag and FMAX kits. How do I get my car smogged. Disassemble the whole thing every two years?

The $2k HKS turbo kit is NON-BB. A BB kit is $4k because the turbo by itself is $2200...
