Default Is there a break in period for a Qauife?

I was wondering if there is one or not. I heard that since it is gear driven, there is not break in period. I wasn't sure. I just got mine it, it doesn't make much noise. That's normal right? I heard soem LSD's were noisey or something. Car does seem to pull around when turning instead of plowing.

Still looking for a open parking lot to test it with. Want to do some figure 8's.

I'm in Ann Arbor Michigan but I got it done in Tory Michigan at Payn Techonologies.

I got my clutch, resurfaced my fly (I'm going turbo), and got my Quiafe, and bought two differential bearings. All installed for $638. Took about 1 1/2 days to do.

Payn Tech has a very high reputation of doing good work. I have only heard good things about them and people from all over the tri state area come all the way to go there.

I think mine was $805 shipped.

It's good to know there is no break in period, I think I'm going to look for a open parking lot now.

thats good. the break in process for some LSD requires you drive around in a figure 8 patter for like 3 hours now that sucks

both actually, they are clutch type discs, which need a break in just like a clutch would. I've heard that doing 5 minutes of figure 8's with the Quaiffe helps, but haven't tried it personally.

Since I just got a clutch installed as well, shouldn't I wait for my clutch to be broken in until I do something like that to my quaife?
