Is there anything special about the different sides of a 35mm flange?
I have some 35mm flanges and one side is different from the other. Is there anything special to each side?

i would assume that lip is to set the piping in to weld it ? that would be the only logical guess. to make it easier ont he welder when he taks it

Yeah I was guessing that after looking at some of the stuff I have with flanges welded on.

im assuming your running a TIAL wg ? if so in this picture it this part should mount to the bottom of your TIAL, see the ring in the middle in this picture ? its for the firing ring that mounts onto your wg which allows it to sit flush with the manifold.
