i kno a cheap way around this. if u live near any truck stop or cemi shop. ask them for the tube u need and they have radiator hose u could use and they sell it by the footor charge pipe conectors 4 real cheap.

I like nitrile couplers, made with radiator hosing from NAPA auto parts.
11 bucks a foot, and it pretty much adheres to the piping when it gets heat cycled.
I've boosted before with the hose on with NO clamps and it held for several days!
the only problem is, if u need to ever get it off, you have to stick a screwdriver under it to peel it off the piping

I have all 3 inches...from TB, Intercooler inlet, intercooler outlet and the Turbo outlet uses V-band
They're about $ 200 PER UNION for 3" setup...yeah, they do get expensive

To me, this is the MOST baller thing I have seen on Honda-tech.
If I bought one, I would expect a new jar of KY with it.

Maybe its because I have my pipes mostly welded and only use couplers in areas that it won't be pulling them apart, or only have run 11psi max...but the 4-ply silicone hose and SS t-bolt clamps I use hold just fine. I don't even have any paint/beads/screw heads/etc to help hold the clamps on, and I ran it in an EF w/o the front motor mount, an OEM rear mount, and filled side mounts. Rocked like a cradle when you gave it throttle, and nothing ever popped off.
Properly made silicone couplers with aramid fiber (kevlar) really shouldn't have issues with high clamping loads or high pressures. I don't doubt a $200 part won't do its job, but that just reminds me of the gold-plated bidets (*** washers) that Saddam had everywhere. Nothing beats a well-designed charge pipe system though.
BTW - I would guess thats a centripetal SC, since you usually only see roots-styles with aftercoolers, and centripetal's with piping for intercoolers.
