Thanks Viren for making my car more bearable!
I got one of the 3" stainless resonators from Viren and now my car is actually fun to drive again. It got so loud with the Thermal exhaust and much to my surprise the resonator took care of that! Thermal said "nah, a 3" resonator won't do anything". Well, they are wrong, so if any of you want a great exhaust system, i recommend the thermal with a 3" glass pack resonator. It won't impede the exhaust flow and it makes it very quiet.

did the resonator really make that much of a difference?

So does this replace the cat or can it go inline anywhere? Right now I've got a carsound 3" cat and thermal exhaust.

This is exactly what I wanted to hear! I got mine from Viren about a week ago, and it's being welded in tomorrow afternoon. I heard the same thing 3" resonators not taking the edge off a Thermal, but I figured I'd try it.
I tried getting it welded at one place and the guy couldn't do the job since he said he couldn't do the job. I was directed to a MIG (sp?) welder and that's who's doing it tomorrow. Is there anything specific I should tell him to do/let him know before he welds it?

What type of core is used, drilled or louvered (probably spelled that wrong). I might have to place an order soon to go with my new 3" exhaust.
Thanks,
