Who else has tried this and did you have similar results? I might try this stuff, I have bad rings in at least one of my cylinders.

I got some at Advance Auto (Discount Auto too). They had it on sale this week for $2.98. Poured it in but haven't got to drive the car because of the snow outside. I got the grey bottle. Heck for $3 i'll try it just to see if it helps the power any.

hmmm...the smoke seemed to have reappeard after not driving it for a week. I didn't drive the car though...because it was raining pretty hard. I will be going to the states for 2 weeks starting Monday, and will have my car rebuilt after that (crosses fingers)...so it was good while it lasted...maybe you have to drive the car everyday?? Don't know...$3.00 for 2 days of problem-free driving...was it worth it...yup!

Okay I just tried some of that CD2. The one that helps oil burning.
It's been 3 days and there's no noticeable smoke coming out of the exhaust.
I'm crossing my fingers.

who tuned this car and how did they not notice the detonation? breaking ringlands is usually, but not always detonation related

Wow, and it just keeps going like the Energizer bunny. These are the most pointless resurrection threads as well...
