tearing out my hair!!! boost dielemma
ughh i just got done writing this awesome post and the f'in window closed....DAMN IT!!!
anyway this time it'll be a lil more compacted.
Here's the problem > slow car. i was going to buy a 03 a4 but my pockets wont allow me. I have 5k, expecting to spend around 1k on suspension, 500/tires, so that should leave me roughly with around 3,5k.
This is the big dilemma: should i boost? build up internals? dont even bother?
The thing is i'm looking for reliability before power, i dont want to have a supper fast car that lasts me a couple more months.
01 Accord, F23, my engine has 124k, the tranny has 40k, clutch 7k. Excellent engine condition due to the fact that 90% of those miles are all highway, with 3,5k full syn oil changes.
I'm somewhat good with cars and really good at following directions, and i'll also have the advice of a lot of good friends. I plan to do the work in my garage and then tune it at the end.
Thanks so much for your time!!!
Words of encouragement are welcome!

Not trying to be a dick but save your money for a real motor. Otherwise your going to waste a lot of money for a little powerband if you plan on making any real power.
