lol... its been burning oil slightly for most of its life... but its still and has been spanking all kinds of cars on the street..
2000s, the new e46 m3, 350zs, etc just to name a few
my other brothers ls has been burning about a quart of oil a month from his nos days back whe nthe motor had like 40k miles and now its been running hard and sitting at 120k now
I also know that there are quite of few members burning oil with in thier cars and still spanking ***... please don't tell me the motor isn't running strong.
Oil rings are prolly slightly damaged
mind you we expected a rebuild a year after boosted, and this motor has been very abused!!!

Hmm. . so your probally pushing around 300whp and you beat the car everyday, don't expect the ringlands to last too much longer.

soo what... just wanted to find out what it runs before the motor blows... might as weel turn it up to 12...
did one run on 12 the other night nothing went booom....
how about you guys go experience it then talk about it rather then regerutate what others say....
93lsivic arturbo and eveyrone else that made this forum what it is were beating camaro SSs and lightnights way back in the days when i got started on honda-tech... on STOCK MOTORS that lasted years.... soo if they could 3 years back why cant my brother and I. we had did not expect the motor to last, but it did!!
flame unless you know what your talking about... and please stop rregurgitate what others say and speak from experience...
why cant 250 whp be done on a gsr with running 10lbs? my bro never got around to getting to the dyno soo we don't have proof but people have seen 300whp on a stock gsr running 10lbs fully tuned..
soo why cant this setup be close to 300? , but im not here to hp race with you guys soo ill stop now

That’s all you need to know
LazyNip>> Congrats to your bro for making the motor last that long. At least you guys understand that its not the safest and are prepared for the worst (fingers crossed). He is proly making about 280 to the wheels at around 10 psi or so. It could be more if it was tuned properly
Launching around 3-4k is going to give you the best results with these tires. You will have to feather the throttle to keep those tires on the ground. I would suggest 25-20 psi to start with and go from there. I have gone as low as 15 psi with my azenis in a 15x6.5" rim. (DONT BLAME ME IF YOU FUXX UP YOUR CAR!)
Oh ya, the rings are surely toast I would do a leak-down or at least comp test
