tail wastegate port question
for the side port, which is supposed to get its boost source from before the throttle plate, what happens if you run it to the intake mani after the throttle plate?

Re: tail wastegate port question (model x)
It's been discussed before, but basically if you put the vaccum line from the turbo (before the intercooler) you're wastegate will likely open a few psi early because of the pressure drop across the intercooler, etc. You can take a line from the manifold to the w/g and that'll compensate for the intercooler's pressure drop.
It's not big deal, and it's not like your car will blow up or anything if you do this. Alot of people go from the manifold, myself included.
