Default On a T3T4 turbo, how much boost can I safely run on a GSR stock sleeves w/forged internals?

Garrett T3/T4e 57trim .63ar turbo, victor x manifold, ramhron manifold, and 3'' downpipe to 3'' exhaust on a stock sleeved GSR with new bearings (main and rod), Eagle Rods, CP 9.0:1 pistons, and 00-01 ITR cams, HOW MUCH BOOST CAN I SAFELY RUN?? this is my everyday driving car so i was looking at 12psi. i know i should be asking how much wheel horsepower but given the specs of the turbo and my set-up, i would think you guys can translate the max power to the spring i should run. im gettin a 38mm tial wastegate and need to know asap what kind of spring i will need to the max and safely. i would like to run as much power as possible but on pump91 gas, im limited. thanks for your inputs!

WITH A 81.5MM BORE ON STOCK SLEEVES, WILL 350WHP STILL BE A RELIABLE SET-UP??

I think you will be fine at 12psi, I'm building a similar set-up and I plan on running around 14psi on a daily basis. Get it tuned to like 15psi, and drop the boost down a little bit for daily driving. With good tuning the stock block/sleeves can handle alot more than 15psi, so I would stay start at 10-12psi and work your way up to a comfortable/stable level. My guess is that you'll make around 320-350whp at 10-12psi with proper tuning

I say 18psi. What are u using for tuning? Remember u can set it low for everyday then raise it at the track or the.... you know. for a boost controller

again to put this in perspective....i'm going to run 10psi daily on the 60 trim.....you can afford to push it more!! The sleeves are good for 550+whp and it has been proven many times!

timing is critical if ur doin high psi on stock sleeves... i would go with llewsirc and say that get someone with a god tuning reputation. other thatn that i would say no more than 10.

i'm sure you can go beyond 12psi. but like to be on the safe side, go with that. do what you feel is most comfortable. personally, i would just go one bar.

my point was that stock sleeves can handle ALOT more power then 350 - 400 WITH A GOOD TUNE

you will be fine at the power levels you are wanting.

hell im making 300 on stock d series sleeves

its all in the tune

oh yea, i just found out that im gunna bore the sleeves. On a good tune, will the sleeves still handle up to 350whp on a 81.5mm bore on stock sleeves?

No problem at all with a decent tune. You should also net 400whp between 15-20psi with your setup.

for a reliable daily driver with stock sleeves at 81.5mm bore and forged internals, i'm now aiming for 300whp min 350whp max, i just dunt feel comfortable boostin the stock sleeves to the limit. i cant take chances.

bump for more opinions
