Is this T3 turbo upgradeable?(dallas peeps take a quick look)

Is this T3 turbo upgradeable?
im buying this kit, not from this guy buy the current owner of the car, maybe u've seen this car with the turbo kit on?not that it makes a difference.

The reason i ask if this turbo is upgradeable is because of the threads i have read on here regarding this turbo as being a little small for the DOHC motors(Although some say it is great for the SOHC motors). Small as in after around 5-6k rpm or so, this turbo will as much air as it can.
I am buying everything regardless because even if i have to buy a different turbo altogether, i'll still be paying alot less than buying a kit or even piecing everything togethere myself.
Goals: modest 200-225 hp, 91octane gas is the highest available here.
My car is a 91 ls w/ about 195k miles<----whew, i know
but compression is good, no oil or coolant is leaking/burning, and a full rebuild is in the books within the next six months
I figure i can buy this, put the kit on, get a feel for whats involved w/ forced induction, and go from there instead of just jumping in and slapping on a big turbo, and fu*$ up my motor.
Sorry for all the info, just want to get some informed advice about the T3, plus im sure u'll be asking for this info anyways, heh.
