A t61 comp wheel is old school T-series stuff. SC61 uses a 56-trim GT35R wheel that's much more efficient. An SC61 should spool up faster, make more power, and blow cooler air.

Is that with a P-trim or a Stage3/Stage5 turbine wheel? I've seen a few turbos dubbed the T3/T61 before, and they were all using a T'netics T61 wheel.

we can do either a stage 3 or the stage 5 wheel with this turbo. we can also combine the p trim with this compressor wheel as well...then it would be known as a T4/T61. our online catalog will be updated soon so that turbo selection is easier....plus we have some new turbo combos on the way

There are a lot of copies of our SC61 out there now -- some are closer than others.

The Garrett GT techonology compressor wheel is far, far superior to any T61 wheel that Turbonetics has had on the market.

We make the SC61 in several different with any one of three different turbine wheels based on the displacement of the engine. Most copycats only offer one.

We expected there would be copies (and some people even stealing the name outright), but we haven't been sitting still. There are more choices now at better pricing and we are maintaining our edge. Give us a call is we can help

If you aren't running nitrous, the 6152E would get you there with the quickest spool time.

I use the sc6152e on my 81.5mm b16, its still making power at 9300rpms and holding the torque too. Spool time is awesome, to me this is the best turbo for the way i like to drive it/race it. Thanks Rod for reccommending this turbo to me when i called, i couldnt be any happier with it.

I usually have 10psi by about 4300rpms, full boost (18psi) is reached at about 5400-5500 rpm.
