Default T3/T4E 57 or turbonetics 62-1

I have the t3/t4 in B18a1 91LS, my buddy wants to buy it. Is it Time to upgrade? I have alot of upgrades 1000cc, 3" exhaust, PnP head, valve springs, big cams, arp studs and rod bolts, 255 walbro, huge intercooler 3" in and out, Sheet metal intake manifold
and soon to have a sleeved block w/ pistons rods.

I was talking to Tom at camp 1320 and he said that the 62-1 is a great upgrade (along with gsr head and itr cams(around 40 whp)) just wanted some advice.

I have 2.25 IC pipe, drag manifold and 35mm turbonetics wastegate. I know these have to be upgrades as well.

Is it worth it??????????????????????

not to sure what my long term goal is! mabey 400 to 500 whp

What size IC pipe, ex manifold and gate do you guys like?

For staying around 400 to 500hp ( I know mine is maxed at about 450) is it worth it?

A Turbonetics BB T04E50/stage3/.63 I've seen make up to about 465 whp on a built B16A motor... this is basically maxing the turbo out at this point. You'll definitely be happy with the way something like that spools up with your setup. If you're not real worried about lag and just want an all out power assault, then go ahead and opt for the 62-1/stage5/.63, but be willing to deal with probably around 600-800 rpm more lag.

What means more to you? A quick spooling turbo or all out max power? What trim turbo are you running now?

BTW, go for the 50 trim over the 57 if you do go that route... just a better, more efficient wheel overall. Peak flow is almost identical.

I have the 57 trim now. Full boost at 4800.

The reason that I was thinking to go bigger is to make the (some what) same power more efficiently. I am not trying to brake the dyno, just something respectable. Big hp dont mean **** if you cant put it to the ground!

I was reading a post about a guy running stock sleeves 62-1 on pump gas making 500 hp at 15psi. Some thing like that would be nice.

If I do decide to go 62-1 do I go with the stage 3 wheel or 5?
