Can you be a bit more specific?

Most drains will have a flange that needs to be bolted on, and then generally go to an AN10 drain line.

You probably want http://shop.vendio.com/funinfe....html and I would stick with -10AN

That's a nice kit, but my snail had different size bolt holes than what was provided in the kit. No biggy, I bored them out a bit with a drill and spent a .50 cents on new hex screws from Ace hardware.

[]D [] []V[] []D fitting - haven't seen one like that, but it'd save you $10-15 bucks on a 1/2" -10AN fitting (assuming that's -10). How much doe those go for anyway?

$14.95 w/ gasket.
It is an AN10 return for T3 style drains.

Thanks for the referral to our site Dennis!

In addition to the full oil line kits for turbos, we also offer the flanges separately. Here is a link to the -10AN Male flange in our online store...

You can also buy drain and inlet flanges from me, on ebay.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">One piece billet T3/T4 Turbo Oil Drain Flange with a male -10AN (JIC) flare fitting machined directly to the flange. The fitting machined directly onto this flange comforms to ISO 8434-2/SAE J514/MIL-F 5509 standards will work with any standard -10 AN hose end. No other adapters or fittings will be required. These fittings are precision machined out of the strongest, airframe grade 7075 aluminum, and is 18-20% stronger than 6061 grade aluminum.

Patented design also gives additional strength to the flange while allowing better heat disssipation from the turbo, allowing it to run slightly cooler and prolonging the life of the turbocharger bearings. These flanges are also designed to be self sealing without a gasket to further improve the heat transfer charactreristics so no gaskets are included.
</TD></TR></TABLE>

I also sell -3AN and -4AN inlet flanges:

let me know if you need them in bulk, I can help you out there too.

A restrictor? Why would you want to restrict oil flow in the turbo?
-3AN is appropraite size for high oil pressure, and -4AN is for lower oil pressure.
The -10AN drain is plenty for both inlets in most cases. If not, I offer a 1/2 NPT drain as well...

Even with -3 line I have had problems with too high of oil pressure feeding the turbo... End up with oil in the charge piping/smoking etc.

So what size do you guys think would be right? -3 is 3/16, and -4 is 1/4. If a fitting of -3AN was on the flange, but the hole was 1/8", would that help out?

I believe 1/16" is the optimum size for the hole, or ~0.06"

The flanges I sell have the following size for the passage:
4mm for the -3 AN
5mm for the -4 AN

-4AN should have a size of 6.35mm, -3 should have a size of 4.76mm, so in a way, we already have resitrictors built in!

1/16 translates to about 1.5MM THAT my friend is a restrictor.

inlet restrictor for T series 1/8" NPT. Oil inlet restrictor for all T3, T3/T4, T04, T72 etc. Turbos with built-in oil restrictor (of .060 hole size). Installed at the oil inlet on turbo to reduce max oil pressure going into the turbo to prevent turbo seal damage due to excess pressure. Input is 1/8" NPT male and output is 1/8 NPT female.

Would anyone be interested in a -3An fitting with a 1.8mm passage(restrictor)?

you will be fine with a -3 or -4. The only reason for a restrictor is if you are pushing oil past the seals.

These will be a limited production run, like 5 flanges. Price will be $25 shipped to you for each flange, including mounting hardware. I will have pics once they are made and avaliable.
