My friend is hooking me up with a revhard manifold for cheap. It has a flange for external wastegate. I was looking at getting a small T3 for now and running 7 or 8psi, but all the T3's I see have an internal wastegate. Does that mean I have to set the turbo up to run an external wastegate and spend that extra $200 or so for a tial or something? Or is there a way to keep the internal wastegate and block off the flange on the manifold or some other method so I can save the extra $200. Just exploring my options so I don't waste money.

i have the same set up. if you want to save money, just plug the external hole for the wastegate and just run the internal. the stock internal wastegate is fine, i think.
