t3/60-1 vrs t3/t67

Hey guys I got a t3/60-1 with a .63 ar housing. I was hoping that my turbo on hi boost on race gas will make enough power to get me into the 10's. This is on an eg hatch cx. Or do you think it would just be better to get a t3/t67? I would run the .63 ar on the t3/t67 also. If they both have the .63 ar do they spool about the same or how much later does the t67 spool? These are just a few questions that I have. My goal here is to run 10's and be a street/strip car. My motor was just sent off to golden eagle for an 83 mm bore and sleeve. It's an ls vtec setup with cp 9.1 c/r and eagle rods. So it will be built and be ready to handle hi boost. Throw me some input here guys. Thanks

Are you serious?
you just spent a few thousand dollars to build you motor and "run 10's" and you dont the diff between a 60-1 and Big K???

fyi....depends on how much money you have to spend....to run 10's your probably better of getting a straight T4 or for now you could buy a larger ex. housing....
either way .63 a/r imo isnt gonna be large enough you gonna need p-trim .82
good luck

T3/60-1's are proven to make atleast 550 WHP with a .63 A/R Stage 5 hot side and that's enough to take him to deep 10's depending on the chassis. Yeah, this is a terrible topic considering he gave us no info about the car, but WTF is with everyone on here telling people to get 10x more turbo than they need.

Re: (turboEGhatch)

the 60-1 is a great turbo, particularly for the money.

We have made huge power on both turbos, but its definately a tough call. I have seen 640 whp out of one of our stage 2 kits (using a 60-1) with only a stage 3 wheel and a .82 a/r. Jeff Evans' tuning skills was part of the reason it made so much but regardless, that blew me away.

we have seen 730 whp out of a t3/t67 HO with p trim turbine.

Its tough to say one turbo or the other, but long story short, if you want 10.80s+ go with the 60-1 if you want faster i would say t3/t67, then once you get towards the low 10s you need to go straight t4 or t3/t67 HO.

which intake and exhaust manifolds do you plan to use?

Thanks guys for all the input. This is the kind of info that helps me, unlike maveric. But yea its in an 95 eg hatch cx ls vtec built. Golden eagle sleeves 83 mm bore. Eagle rods, cp 9.1 c/r. GSR head mild port and polish with type r valves, titanium retainers and type r valve springs. I will probably buy a skunk 2 manifold. But the turbo setup is: t3/60-1 .63, fab-works tublar manifold, 44 mm tial wastegate, forgot what type of bov, 3 inch down pipe. Hondata S200 with boost. Well thats most of the stuff. But thats basically the setup.

either one is a good choice...t3/t67 is the one I would take between the two though https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif
