Default t3 60-1 questions

What do you guys think it is capable of making on a built and sleeved motor with supporting mods... on race gas and around 25 psi...... im hoping to make around 500-550 can it be done with this turbo

i predict 280whp on 25psi and race gas... since your the one that put it together..

should be fun

well i ordered this turbo b/c i was under the impression it could support 600 whp... my goal is 550.... i would be happy with like 520 or so... i just dont wanna go to dyno and this turbo not work for me....im wanting like 430 on pump and 500 plus on race...

Best bet to do that would be to make sure you use the P-Trim exhaust wheel, and not the stage III in order to make those goals, but it could work.

eagle rods
1000cc injectors
either blox or edelbrock manifold
68mm throttlebody
stock port head b16
springs and retainers
3 inch dp and ramhorn built by me
2.5 ic piping and a 600hp intercooler
tial bov and 40mm wg tial also

I did 556whp at 25psi on a 2.0 on 112octane with that little stage 3 wheel. it can be done for sure

when you coming up here to tune?

and your gonna drag my *** down lakeview dr. huh? where the hell is lakeview drive... you better be on race gas if you plan on doing that, and hope you get some traction...

your del sol is heavier than my hatch, which is gutted

its also known as sh 66 i think.... the main road right out of tonys shop....lol.... pump ftmfw against you...lol...playing.... how much do the delslows weigh anyways

You'll be plenty fine with that then. So far I've made 430 while letting out early (around 7500rpm) on 17psi. That run was on course for about 450-460.

That's great. But what CAN be done doesn't mean it SHOULD be done for the use that he's trying to use, and still keep the turbocharger for a long life. (And I mean more than 2 years..)

are you saying that is pushing the expletive out of that turbo.... 25 psi dont seem like it would be pushing the hell out of it maybe he has a well built setup

shodan... what is the highest you could boost that turbo? 25psi, 30psi etc.

After about 26-30 psi. It starts to not like things at about 27psi (you'll see it in the IATs), and at 30psi, its just begging to stop. At that point, you're really not making any more usable power

ahhh yes 66.... i know it very well... spanked a camero (owner of shop by tony's , lol) last time i left from tuning ..... not sure on the exact weight of the delslo but it weighs more than a eg hatch for sure... especially mine
