ive seen threads about people having to shave down there blocks. however, this wont solve my problem. The intake side of the turbo sits behind the edge of where the block is stamped. so even if i did shave the block a little bit there would be no way for me to put a filter on the turbo...

i am using an ssautochrome manifold, do you think this could be my issue? anyone else running t3/60-1's on thier bseries with the ssauto manny?

the manifold is the only thing that positions the turbo.
of course its the manifold's fault.

If you don't have a downpipe already or don't mind the cost of having one made then just clock the turbo and turn it around. Get a short 4" k&n filter you won't have to shave anything. Here is a pic of mine on an inlinepro manifold:



A 3" downpipe fits..

nope didnt get downpipe yet - i was planning on going custom... looks like im cockin mine around, thanks. that means i dont need slim fan either.
