Switching from t3/t04e 57 trim to gt3076r what to expect
I had a built b16 on the 57 trim making 410 on pump at 20psi. At 20psi what should i expect for number on the 30R ? what will the difference in spool time be ? Looking to see if there would be a big difference befor i spent $1300.

Power itself, not a whole bunch, more like WHERE the power is located. It might help to explain what more are you trying to do with the car here? If its just POWER, you have about 30 more choices to choose from than just that. please give us a bit more EXACTING detail.
I have your PM and will respond as soon as I can. but this "more power vs. Less power for X turbo" thinking has to stop.. look at what you're REALLY trying to do with the car and look up some comparison feedback from additional forums to see if this is the direction you really want to go. Can't stress this enough.

i have that turbo on my set up and the power compared to my good friends 57 trim is way more smooth in delivery, but depending on your set up id say you can expect 15-16psi to make 400whp bretty easy.

As for what i want is a power band close to what i had with the 57 trim. Something thats great for the streets (considering it's mostly a street car) Even tho i want power I dont want to be lagging all day waiting for this thing to spool. However on 20psi the car made a little over 400whp (on the 57 trim) this also will be a track car so I just want to make more power than my last setup so when i hit the track i can be competitive and considering this is my second build I dont want it to be exactaly the same as before. I wanna make 500whp or so could be more could be a little less but want to get as close as possible but still have a good street turbo. I mean i know i could get a 35r and run 20psi and probually make well over 500 but i dont want to wait till 6500rpms before i'm at full boost.

I don't know where you're getting 6500rpms to get full pressure for about 20psi or so, but that might be from some misreading of compressor and dyno charts. Even the standard ones aren't that laggy. On hondas, 90% of them on B & K series get full pressure by about 4300-4500 or so. Even the journal bearing GT3540S gets full pressure by about 4700rpms even on B16s. I understand you don't want to have a "laggy" turbo to get 500whp, but truth be told, you can't have both with a sub-3 litre engine. At the same time, you don't want to ever take a turbo like a GT3076R and push it to the max to get to the same level. That's just going as backwards as getting something too big.
IF you're willing to spend the money, there are alternatives to even the GT35R that are modified. I'll PM you some info
