Default Switching housings

I have a t3 that blew seals on me and it had a 4 bolt exhaust housing. I bought a 60 trim and it has a 3 bolt exhaust housing. Both housings are .48. so my question is would it be safe to just switch both housing so I wont have to get a new downpipe? Would I risk damaging the seals on the new turbo or what?

as long as the turine wheel (exhaust side wheel) from both turbo's are the same size, it can be done. I switched to a smaller exhaust housing for faster spool up.

Yep if the wheels are the same size it will work fine.

Not at the same time. Right now I have the pistons in... but tonight I'm gonna try the rods.
