Switched wastegate to brake booster ~ feels laggy?
Hey I just changed my wastegate vacuum from the throttle body where it goes to EVAP to the brake booster vacuum. I went out for a spin and the car felt like it was a lil more laggy than before, maybe it was just me but it seemed like it took longer to hit boost..? Any reason for this? Is it because the brake booster vac is in a bad location for th wastegate vac?
Also, usually my vacuum read at 22" but sometimes the idle will drop a lil low and the vac will go to like 18". If i tap the gas the idle comes back up and so does vac (back to 22").
Is this normal? Possible causes?
