SVE map hondata s300 questions

SVE map hondata s300 questions
I have a SVE 3 bar map and i thought it was just three wires, but it has a fitting/nipple on the back of it like it needs a vaccum line or something. I checked the stock map sensor and it has no sort of lines feeding to it. What is it for?
Also, I just got s300 and need a basic map for my h23. I found one on Smanager for a h22, but none for h23. Anyone know if there is one already made?

that is what a map sensor does, it works off of vacuum or manifold pressure. THe stock one has a hole in the bottom of it for just that. Just run a nice vacuum source to the 3 bar and you will be good to go.

hmmm.....im gonna go look at it again b/c i was sure i didnt find anything connecting to the stock one. Like you said though, wouldnt make since not to have it. Okay, ill just split it off my BOV.
