Whats up guys, I finally got everything inline and got the car started a few days ago. Everything is golden except for a few gremlins im having. Upon start of the car it idles to 1100 or so and surges back and forth to 1300ish, I have the crower stage 2 SOHC turbo cam, so im not exactly sure what the idle is suppose to be. any ways When I go to rev the motor not only does it not accelerate but it smooths the idle out to maybe 1200r's and stays there. no increase of Acceleration at all, I have done all I know now im moving to you guys.

heres a lil list of food for thought. Theres no o2 sensor in the down pipe due to the fact that its custom made. I plan on gettin a bung welded in for it when I drive the car up town to get my exahsut hung. The ECU is a P28 with a "skunk2" Program socketed in. ( I think this is fine for an intiall start up. (I also have another chip burnt for my 550s and what not). I have a 3 bar map sensor installed as well. I have it hooked up like the hondata page says so. Then I have a Vac line going from the nipple on the 3 bar to the nipple on the t/b then T'd off into my Vac mani.
Im not 100% sure thats how thats suppose to go. hmmm what else would cause my problems? Please help if your North FL local Id love some hands on!!

sounds like a combination of things.
A) make sure you burned the chip correctly to compensate for the 3bar
B) Make sure the chip is inserted properly
C) is you car obd2 swapped to obd1?

Why wouldnt you put in your 550 ecu? Or are they not installed yet?

Im running on the stock z6 Injectors, The skunk prog doesn't have the 3 bar option but when I pull the 3 bar pig tail nothing happens? the engine and car are odb1, this is the same chip I was using in my N/A application. I have a Tuned Chip for the RC550's and the 3 bar and what not. I just wanna get the car started and going and get 1000 miles on it or so b4 I start thorwing boost at it.

how is the idle when the engine is cold and you start it?

I'd plug in your stock map and use your stock ECU.

Well the 3 bar will defientely be throwing your tables off, but Id defientely be installing the 550's, 3bar and Uberdata(?) in there

It isnt very hard to stay out of boost from what Ive seen

1000 miles could be concurred in a weekend and $60 bucks of gas

Put your stock map sensor on. OR put in your 550s and the other chip.

Also check your timing.

what is your vacuum @ idle? that cam is relatively mild, and the duration is rather short, so ou dont have to worry about idle issues because of that...

What throttle body, and, was this throttle body on a perfectly functioning setup before this build? I would look at the fast idle screw, also, what about vacuum leaks at throttle body/ plenum or...runners/head? Coolant air pockets? What codes do you have? What type of condition is the IACV in?

If all this stuff checks out, surges can be from lean condition at the vacuum level/ rpm where idle is...also, too much timing at that same point can cause a lope.

i think its something with the 3 bar. Either take it out for now or throw in your 550's and run the other maps.
