I have some supercharger questions:

1)How come not as many people supercharge their cars as they do turbocharge them? Most say that you can't get as much power gains, but I've read about many supercharged cars doing great, including a civic that hit 180mph.
2)Are superchargers legal? What are the main differences between a JRSC and a Vortech?
3)If I were running a vortech s/c with 7-8psi, i/h/e (3"), what kind of hp/tq gains would I get?
4)What is necessary for a basic supercharger setup? fuel pump? new clutch? What else? Thanks!

BTW, I drive a 1996 LS Integra. Thanks!

I tried searching the F/I forums using the words supercharger, supercharge, s/c, supercharged, and came up with 3 or less posts each time. Maybe it's messed up or something, but that's all I found.

If I remember correctly, it is only running between 9 and 11 lbs of boost with the aftercooler.

Vortech for you would have to be a custom kit. The only kit they have for the Integra at this point is the GSR. I have a GSR w/ the Vortech. Just bolting the kit on w/ my DC 4-2-1 header, no other mods, I am seeing 218.5 hp to the wheels at 7850 RPM.

The kit comes w/ everything you need (intank fuel pump, 310cc injectors, FMU, ect). The clutch is at your discretion.
