Suggestions needed: DC5 chassis.. optimal location to mount an oil cooler
Started the build on my EP3 K20 Civic and while waiting for the head to come back to put the new engine together, I wanted to test mount and make the mounts for both my intercooler and oil cooler. I'm installing speed factory intercooler and Mishimoto 19 row universal oil cooler.
My problem is that the intercooler takes all space at the front and I want to mount the oil cooler at the front too, one option is to mount the oil cooler at the far top left corner by the radiator but cannot hook anything the AN bungs because of the hood. Can I mount the oil cooler upside down and I'm guessing the position of the oil cooler and the way it's mounted will affect my oil pressure!

I prefer mounting upright, or on left/right side, but at the end of the day it shouldn't matter much.
Pay attention to your oil level when refilling or when checking for oil burnoff/blowby. With the car off and the oil pump not running, some residual oil from the lines and cooler are going to flow backwards back into the pan.
