Subaru WRX Turbo on B18C?
Has anyone ever used the little wrx turbo on a b18c? I can get a really good deal on one and just wanted to put together a lilttle backyard turbo setup. I'm just not sure if it will get a little winded at higher rpms anyone know?

not sure how it'll do on a b18c, but the stock wrx turbo on a wrx has good response low/mid end...but top-end isn't all that great. might be the same or different...not sure.

No this turbo will suck hard donkey nuts on a b18c. I have one on my sohc and it runs out of breath a little up top so i'm sure on the b18c it would not do so well.

im runnin the wrx on my d16 y7/y8 mini me
its a great turbo for the d (quick spool and lots of torque) but you'll want something much larger for your b18c

Re: (lkailburn)
If I do end up using this turbo on my B it was not going to be permenent I was really curious if it will peform decent. All I have to compare it to is the fact that it does pretty well with the subby and the VW GTI is using a similar sized turbo on their 1.8. Looks like I might have to give it a try just to find out

if you don't mind changing/modifying your manifold and dp and charge pipe setup for the new turbo go for it man. give it a whirl and see how it feels. its deffintily going to feel like a supercharger on yours..with instant boost lol and 0 lag. i know on mine just backing out of my driveway hitting 1.5k rpm i could hear it start spooling up lol
enjoy the boost
