Degrees of crank angle before Top Dead Center.
In order for what you see on the ignition base map to be accurate, you have to synchronize the distributor base timing at idle with the base map's ignition timing in the cells that it uses for idling.

the car is done and running still needs alittle tweaking in the fuel section then i want to take it over to elite and get her tuned sometime this winter, thanks again for the seats charlie

Stock i believe is 14 deg btdc. So if you were to enter a neg number, yes it would be advanced, but way too much, the car would die. I am not even sure uberdata will accept a neg number, would probably just throw a cel.
