streetimports FMIC for 300+whp d16?
So im looking for a FMIC for my d16z6 turbo setup. which will consist of:
-maybe a fully built bottom end
-fullrace copy mani
-sc50 .48 a/r
-2.5 charge pipes
would the streetimports FMIC size 22x9x3 be sufficient for the HP im looking for? I want something better, quality wise at around the same size. but if i go with this IC, dsm bov, custom charge pipes i might be able to sleeve my block.
anyone know if these units are decent? i have searched, i only found 1 person with real feedback but that was for a much larger IC.

i know that. but im also wondering about its cooling capabilities. and if its a quality unit, all the other parts im using have been tested and i am sure about them.

ugh, 2" seems like its way too small.... i wantes a 2.5 inche piping all the way around

Stop focusing on numbers dude. 2.5" is overkill for your goals, period.

I was one of the first ones to get one, just because it was so inexpensive.
I logged a few runs when I dyno'd and at 12psi my IACs didn't change very much.
went up only about 5 degrees from ambient, but I'm not so sure how its gonna do at high boost.

i made 220whp on a dynapack at 14psi with the street import ic. its in the link in my sig. I just sold everything though and i'm probably going to go with a pwr ic for my next setup.

My buddy made 400.2whp with it.
Dont lissen to this dumb ****. If you plan on building do it right the first time go 2 1/2.
your buddy did not make 400whp with 2 inch shut up, and if he did than he is limmiting himself alot. Oh that is right bitch I am back...

You do know the hot side pipe is 2" on pretty much every turbo kit right?
