Street/dragstrip car, which T3/60-1?
Looking at a T3/60-1 to upgrade my small T3/T04E charger. Cheapturbos.com offers options of .48, .63, .82, and 1.06 a/rs for the turbine. Going by the maps 1.06 will be very laggy, and .82 would be the best middle ground between top end power and spool time. Can anyone offer a suggestion from personal experience?
thanks,
Jared

Look at T04E/T3 60trim w/ either .63 or .82a/r.
I am unsure if you want a stg 3 or stg 5 wheel.

T3/T04E 50 or 54 trim .63 A/R turbine Stage 3 wheel If that is all you plan to run.

IMHO, call art about a precision SC61. Quicker spooling than the T3/60-1, a more broad efficency range, and I belive it will support more horsepower as well.

That sir is a very good idea actually. If I were to buy another turbo I would o this. I was just giving info on my experiences I had. All the Precision Turbos seem to be good, the SC61 is definately better than the 60-1 by far

sc61 hands down. My sc 61 with a stage 5 exhaust spools quicker than my old 60-1 hifi with a stage 3 wheel and the sc61 whoops its *** on the top end.

Crap, I hope I don't have to wait that long, I already have everything else for my new setup and my manifold should be here next week.

precision is on back order on the sc61 as far as i know... who know when they will have them again.
why not just go sc63. it flows 1 lb more of air.... thats about the only difference really... a HAIR bigger

Hmm, how much extra lag would be associate with the SC63? And does it come with a T3 flange?

I just talked to art, he says the only thing backordered are the 5 bolt exhaust housings. I'm getting a 4 bolt anyway.
