STORY : First night out with turbo........Gas everywhere
Ok, flame if necessary.
I was cruising around enjoying my newly installed turbo having much fun, then i start back on my way home feelin the love for some boost. About half a mile from my house, I start smellin gas fumes. Then after about 30 seconds, a LOT of gas fumes. Now I am trippin because I see my gas meter go from almost full to down to almost half....so as I am gettin high off fumes, I look in my rear view and see a trail behind me I swear I thought I was gonna die cuz of an explosion. I put put home at about 10 mph and pull into my driveway and start hosing poo poo down like it was the WTC. (Still high from inhalation of fumes) I open my hood and inspect everything and find that the little hose connected to the bottom of my stock fuel pressure regulator has fallen off. :/
My lesson of the day : Hose clamp your fuel lines!
Ok, now I am not a stupid person, just got bad luck...i think.

Don't feel bad, when installed mine a few weeks ago I turned on my engine and I got this stream of fuel coming up from the back of my FPR. Couldn't figure out what it was, so I took it off and noticed that I forgot to put the tiny O ring back in. Apparently, lost it so I ended up getting one that is meant for an Accord FPR(same size though).

Re: STORY : First night out with turbo........Gas everywhere (maxim)
I had the same thing happen not with my FPR but with a fuel pressure gauge that I had run an extended fuel line to and strapped to my windshield wiper so I could check my peak FP under boost - somehow I forgot to clamp the fitting on the gauge so the first time I hit boost and the FP went up to like 100+ psi it launched the gauge off the tube, over the car, landed somewhere on the road, and the hose covered my entire windshield with gas which began pouring through my open windows. Don't feel bad, we're all complete idiots in here.

WOA.... I had a NICE little quick drip fuel leak RIGHT ON MY ALTERNATOR when I first cranked my car after putting in a new clutch... Had a small hole apparently in the return hose.. Cut off 1" and reclamped it. Done deal.
I also drove the car 30 miles for help getting the back bolt in my motor mount = 2 motor mounts connected with my Hasport kit... <Bang, Bang against the firewall>
What fun.
