Stock VS aftermarket Head Gasket
Yo boy's and girls.
Ok after my second HG on my Z6 I'm getting sick of this ****. But I would rather my HG blow out than anything else ya know.
So when I haul my motor the winter for some improvements should I put on a cometic, inline pro HG, or just put on another stock HG?
Haas any one used the MR. Gasket HG's?

Re: Stock VS aftermarket Head Gasket (jamal-188)
Its prob because I ran the motor for a couple of hundred km with out my inline fuel pump. There must have been enough detonation to wear my HG.
Oh well.
Guess I'll just replace it with another stock HG.

I have a Question to add too this post....(if you don't mind)
Which would you reccomend for VERY high boost levels?
Cometic Gasket with Fire Ring OR Custom SCE copper gasket and O ringed block?

Re: Stock VS aftermarket Head Gasket (Bryson)
Golden Eagle told me to go with the o-ringed cylinders and a Cometic standard MLS gasket for high boost. They said I could use a stock gasket too. The o-ring is essential for holding higer boost levels they said.
You can't use the Cometic HP gasket and GE o-rings at the same time. The HP already has copper built into the gasket around the cylinders.
