Me and my friends dad were talking once about this and I thought I would ask to find the answer.

How many members on H-t (or people you know of) with <U>EK EX Coupes</U> that still have <U>full interior</U> and <U>stock suspension</U> and are <U>daily driven</U> are there that run 12's or faster? I know that I rarely see any and just wanted to know because I was at the track a while ago and was talking to a guy who said hes never seen any coupe around here run 12's period. Of course there arent many fast Honda's that are around chicago that are DD period.

The reason this is in FI is because I figure any car that meets these standards if FI. So let me know how many you know of. I will try to update with a running list.

I got a DD full interior coupe thats gettin into the 12 range soon but i run GC+koni yellow, gc tophats, full strutbar setup + passJDM 3pt, function7 lcas and f+r swaybars

Yeah, thats why I want to see how many others there are out there. I figure there cant be to many because A. Most people upgrade early before they make power. and B. I'm stupid and never got around to doing it. Ill try to get a video up soon of a run I mad. The chassis squat it rediculous

Well, I had a CRX that was DD everyday and had full interior, so I dunno if it counts or not but the only suspension mod I had was the jimfab x-member. The front end of my car would lift up so much on the launch and when I shifted gears too. Id imagine with the proper suspension setup I could of done better then the 12.6 that I ran.

Well the trap speed you have shows that it definitely could have gone much lower at 115. But as to the original question. It does not count because it is not a coupe, nor an EK.

I guess it looks like its gonna be a short list then.

i ran 11.47 in my coupe with full interior, stock suspension and it was the only car i had.

I know, I needed something to cover the bottom of the intercooler and my friend gave it to me for free. I would never pay money for it, but other then the stupid fog holes it is not bad.

not a ek but EG 12.17 seconds with full interior, ps, stereo system. somewhat stock suspension(tokico hp struts and tenzo springs) traction bar, strut bars, tie bars. the reason why I say somewhat stock suspension is that the Hp struts ride just like stock, bounce a lot.

Eh, I went 12.67 @ 112 with nothing but Omni's bolted on, not setup at all on 10 lbs with a 60-1 and a full interior with the stereo bumbin down the track

It's not that hard to do man, you just have to be willing to make the power to overcome the traction dissadvantage because that pass was on slicks and was only a 2.05 60' thanks to no setup whatsoever, we tuned it on the street on the way to the track.

I expect a lot more out of it in the next two weeks or so.


Speaking of, there are two in town locally both EK's and both single slams running 12.70 and 12.90 respectively on stock suspensions and 109 and 107.

i went 11.47 at 127 and i was prolly making about 470-490...my sixty i believe was a 1.78 i was on 25x8's and it was my first time out.

Thats still very impressive, I could probably shave another 2 tenths off will some more driving skill and another 2 after that with slicks. All I have is drag radials now. The biggest problem I have is like 40 feet out when I hit higher boost no matter what I do it wants to spin. thanks for the input, I just wanted to know what else was out there other then me and obviously Hybrid_Coupe now.
