is the stock oil cooler needed for turbo
hey guys I'm doing an engine swap taking my DC2 Ls motor out and putting in my semi built gsr my ? is can i put the water tube from the back of the LS onto my gsr block so i don't have to run cooler lines. another question, is the oil cooler needed for turbo. i just want to run less lines as possible. If i do need the oil cooler than i will put it on. i seach but didn't really find an answer

If anything, your oil will run hotter with a turbo in the circuit. I'd definitely use some type of oil cooler, whether it's OEM, or aftermarket. I have an OEM oil cooler and my oil temps go as high as 230F...that's about as high as you want to go on dino oil...
