Stock motor making good power? Look in here:
My stock B16A2 recently took a dump, thanks to a ******* CTR crank pulley. I am in the process of putting another motor together (stock crank pulley ). I have no money to build a block right now, so I will stick with another stock B16 block for a while.
My question is to all of you making I guess high 200s and up on stock motors, how long have they lasted for you? I really dont want to risk blowing another motor. My stock B16 with an SC61 on 10 pounds did great for months. I never had it on the dyno, but it rolled on the streets nicely even with a VERY conservative tune. I guess I need to know what my goals should be to make it last for a while. How are stock motors doing for everyone else? Include your set-up if you don't mind.
Thanks
