Default stock ls/vtec turbo in the works, need help choosing a turbo

Hey honda tech, I'm looking for advice as far as my turbo choice on my ls vtec integra(g2),

Current build:
Stock ls bottom end, b17a pr3 head and intake manifold, b17a cams. Looking to turbo my car and hopefullly push around 350-375hp. Only plan on revving it out to about 8500rpm for reliability.

I have narrowed my choices down to a silver surfer, garrett gt871, or precision 5431.

Id rather have a quickspooling turbo for low end and a flatter torque curve.

Probably going to cheap out and get a used ramhorn or mini ram, or new cast manifold, ebay charge piping kit because know one makes a kit for my chassis, ebay front mount, tial bov and wastegate. Manual boost controller, neptune rtp fab my own downpipe and dump tube.

Can charge piping be made from steel? I can mig weld steel and thin wall might be doable and save some cash.

I don't plan on moving away from stock cams because I can't afford valvetrain right now and not looking for crazy amounts of power.yet.

im liking the silver surfer for your setup.

you can make your charge pipe from steel, just paint it so it wont rust. my charge piping is mild steel that i mig welded.

Silver Surfer is a great turbo. A Garrett 60 trim .63 AR will be good also but not as responsive as the Surfer from what Mac has told me about it and what I have read.
The B17 uses a B16 head and cams so there is nothing special about them both use P30 cams. So that being said you probably wont make power to 8500 and that is pushing the limit of the stock valve springs. If you had some Type R valve springs and cams then a rev limit of 8500 or even 9000 would be good because you will keep making power. Lets face it B16 cams suck, I know I am running some now. Not saying you cant get to your HP goals on B16 cams because you can. If you can find some GSR cams you will see a good increase in power and mid range over the B16 cams. Dont make the charge piping from steel it weighs more than aluminium and lighter is faster. You can if you want but you can get a bolt in intercooler and piping off Ebay for $200.

Nothing against my cams, its just what I have, Im not trying to set the world on fire.

my redline is at 8k right now and it pulls to about 7700rpm N/a.

To be honest Im gonna tspend money on the important bits (turbo, wastegate, ecu) and fab or ebay the rest.

From what reseasrch I was doing I could see similar results between a silver surfer and a t3/54 or to4e type turbo are very close but the siver surfer will be more responsive down low.. what os the precision or turbonetics equivelant to a to4e turbo?. The reason I ask is becaue they might not be a silver surfer but could be just as reliable at a lower price sacrificing spool time. Like I said I'm not trying to trying to set the world on fire. Just want a reliable dd with a litle bit of pep.

What was you fuel setup?
