Well right now I've got a stock LS Integra I plan to turbo. The only other thing I have is a nice HY35 Holset turbo. I don't plan to build the motor for a few years so I've decided to run 230whp on low boost and 300whp on high boost. Or something along that.

I've got the whole kit planned out. For the downpipe I will use the stock Holset housing, cut, and weld on a 3" downpipe. For the cold side I plan to just get some piping from GO-AUTOWORKS or something and a medium size intercooler.

But where I am stuck and the next thing I plan to buy is a manifold. I've talked to Spoolin and Inline Pro. I don't think the build needs anything amazing since I only plan to make 300whp. Spoolin said their cast manifold will NOT work with the big Holset and said I would have to jump up to the Quick type manifold which is $500. I talked to Inline Pro and they said I would have to run their SS T3/T4 manifold which is also $500. I do not have a problem spending that much even though I don't think I need to. I've read the Holset thread from front to back but it seems that thread has since died.

I saw some Blox cast manifolds but not sure if I could use them. I will be running no AC or PS I guess and running a half radiator. Could I not just run like a Blox cast manifold with maybe a spacer? Any help would be awsome.

im doing the same build but im am running a ls vtec and using a cast manifold also dont plan to make much power i think you will be fine with the cast so you should have a good spool. my turbo is a rebuilt H1c

im going to be running a h1c with a bep housing on my stock block ls build. I also have a go autoworks cast iron manifold

The Holset Compressor Housing is very close in size to a Turbonetics T-Series housing

Some HY35's have a smaller comp housing with 90* outlet

Its is slighlty larger than a S-cover, the problem is the cast manifolds generally position the turbo quite close to the engine.

If the manifold can fit a T series or at minimum a S cover - you should be fine !!

they hy will net ya 400hp and spool very quickly they have a 9cm2 exhaust housing. The 12cm2 I have hits 15psi by 3500rpm so that much smaller of a housing u do the math.
