stock ls/greddy dyno #s.....finally......
I was getting a little to curious, so I finally got some #s on the car...230whp/217ft lbs. @10 psi of boost, and pump gas.....I ran 12.50 with this exact setup, and 12.06 on 13psi.....I will go back soon with some race gas on 15 psi to see what happens......

Yup...runnin the hack......I will try to post up the graph tonight...What u dont belive me WTF!! J/K ...I just think its amusing that a few months back import tuner did a turb test on all different cars and turbos, and they said a ls put down 165 whp on 8 psi.....Thats one reason why greddy turbos get such a bad name....BASTARDS!!

I made 230whp and 192wtq on the hack with the 18G. I don't know why everyone thinks it is a small turbo it is well capable of 300whp or more. props on the #'s lets see it on race gas

He his getting 240whp/217ft tq @ 10psi on a greddy kit. I have stock ls also with a t3/t4 50 trim. I am about to get it tuned to 10 psi with hondata s200b. What do you think my range would be. WOuld it be the same??

Setup is a 1994 bone stock b18b,ls trans, stock axles, open diff, off the shelf greddy kit,ur racing crank pulley, aem fpr,safc,440s,in-tank pump, fjo w/b....I guess thats just about it...I am the 1 guy out of 50 people who think the greddy turbo is a good kit...Thats my main point for posting the #s and 1/4 mile times that I do, to show that there are other good kits out the besides the usual....Thanks for the replies.....

Re: (99lspwr)
looks good and nice numbers, but its definatly there on the graph that the lil turbo is starting to run outa breath.
damn good times and amazing power
What else could be done do this setup (or similar one) to keep the power still going across rather than starting to drop off?

Re: (tegasaurus)
tegasaurus:::I dont think its the turbo thats lacking the power at that rpm, thats where the power starts to fall on a ls motor..It pulls very hard all the way up to redline and its making max power in the 6300-6400 rpm range...The ls with greddy turbo makes an extremely fun street car though....Did u see how high the torque #s are in the lower rpm band???Sorry b16 guys, but u cant mess with this stump puller...

Re: (99lspwr)
Runnin pretty rich on the top end huh? A/F ratio looks like a roller coaster . None the less Greddy kit's on LS's are fun to drive except for the dam spiking issues and holding boost at highter rpms and psi .
I'm in the same club as you dogg, I as feel as if I'm a nerd witha 18g turbo cause I don't own a sc61, t3t4, or any turbo bigger than a 18g.
PS: We should both go down to xotic on a suicide mission to see how much these 18g's can make . I'm down to push it to the limit!

I was putting out 175 torque at 6-7 psi. Ls's put out alot of torque

Re: (roydogg)
freeing up the exhaust sure would help. when i switched to no cat and 3" dp/full exhaust i noticed a HUGE difference. oh, and a straight-through muffler ( i'm using Magnaflow) i ended up with 226ftlbs or torque out of my B18c

Re: (kaj)
roydogg:::I think a suicide mission would be fun...I am sure one of us could crack 300 whp, or crack something at least ...As far as the a/f goes, I really did not have too much time to mess with tuning prior to the dyno run, but yeah, I just need to add a little fuel for 4-5 k, and subtract a little from 5-7k...Its all good....All part of the route 9 tuning sessions....
