Stock F22B2 Turbo?

I am looking into turboing my Accord further down the road as an ongoing project. My friend is also going to be turboing his civic and getting rid of his Camaro.

Knowing that the F22B2 is SOHC, I was putting deep thoughts into getting an H23 head and putting that on for the tunability of DOHC, but then I saw D16 engines make pretty good power with decent turbo set-ups. My question is, with the compression already at 8.8:1, and it being sleeved, unlike the H22A1, would I see a significant gain in turboing it as a SOHC engine? I would be doing all the other things to upkeep my engine along with building the bottom end. I just want to get a basic idea of what people think before I actually look deeper into this and end up wasting time/money.

Thanks!

It depends on what your power goals are. The F22b2 would be a great motor to boost if you're looking to get around 250whp or a little more.

all motor have sleeves, H22s are just FRM sleeves. stock iron sleeve liners are far from say a GE or Benson sleeved block

with forged internals and stock sleeves 400hp shouldnt be a problem with a proper turbo setup.

Mr Wonderfull- Maybe you would be willing to tell me the setup you ran on your F22B1. I think the only difference is one is Ob1 and Ob2?

Correct me if I'm wrong. I would PM you, but I don't know how.
