stock ECU can't run a 7 psi turbo boost on a 96 civic?
I been reading around from different sites and some people like in homemade turbo they done the FMU the stock CX/VX manifold BOV wastegate etc.. but never changed the ECU unless b/c it was pre 96 civic. How much of a hassle will t be to do the ECu to take boost? some say I need a harness. I have a 96 cx hatchback but its same engine on the LX 106 hp d16

to get the fuel to boost you'd need an obdI ecu, and crome/uberdata/hondata/neptune, etc. Crome and uber are free. All you have to do is have the ecu chipped. then you can pull timing under boost, add fuel, have almost complete control over the engine.
I'm running crome and have no regrets

you have a lot to learn by the looks of it. you will need to invest in some engine management (hondata, uberdata, neptune) if you want your motor to last. you need to convert to obd1 for that. you will also have to have it tuned by someone too. search the site and read up about this stuff before you go boostin away
