stock comp. ratio and recommendations for aftermarket pistons?
For my winter project I am looking to buy rods/pistons/sleeves for my d16y7 so that I can run more boost. I am probably going to go with the eagle rods, but wasn't sure what I should get for pistons. I am trying to figure out what the stock compression ratio is for my y7 engine and what you guys would recommend for CR for a 15psi turbo application. Thanks,
Pfieff

9:1 is usually pretty good. Not to high, but not low enough to make the car lame to drive around off boost.

9.1 pistons should work fine. if you have 93/94 octane gas, you probably could go with slightly more compression for better off boost performance.
this is what i found.

so you have 9.4:1 C/r stock. eagle rods with a set of 9:1 or 9.5:1 if you have better gas should do great with good t
