Default Stock block f20b dyno results

Here to share the results of my stock block f20b on 91 pump gas.. I know I can have a better powerband with a different turbo but besides that I am happy with the results besides a couple of hiccups.. I ultimately wanted to make more power and the plan was to tune it on 91 and then an e85 tune but the clutch would not allow that so I am stuck with it as is until I figure out the clutch deal.. I would like to thank tim at xact dyno for tuning it.. would also like to thank rosko for getting me some parts I needed in a hurry and dealing with me on a sunday and 2nd day air shipping me those parts.. here are the details of the build or parts..lol
stock block f20b manual version from hmo in 2011 (approx 70k miles)
euro r intake manifold
brms top mount mani with 2 44mm vband wastegates
borg warner s360 .88 AR turbine housing
Precision 600hp intercooler
walbro 255, id1000s, aeromotive fpr
Tuned on s300 v2
Clutch is a act hd pressure plate with 6 puck sprung disc and it is rated at 355 ftlb but wouldn't hold anything over 280ftlb.. any suggestions on a clutch so I can make more power?

try competition stage 4 or 5 that should hold up without any problems

CC Stage 4 or 5 will work just fine depending on how much power you are trying to make.
I will bite my tongue however when it comes to Xact Dyno and tunes by Tim LOL.

Really strong numbers for a stock block on pump, let alone 91 oct!

Nice to see someone doing things to an Accord. Great numbers for a stock block. Why the low rev limit? If it's truly a manual F20B it should have no issues revving and making power to 8500 reliably, especially with your turbo setup and intake manifold.

Makes sense. The graph stops at 7500, that's why I asked. Nice setup though. I went the other direction with my CD5. It's got a boosted JDM H23A in it.

What kind of numbers you make and what you revving too?

Not sure on the power. Never had the car on a dyno. Around 320-350whp if I had to guess based on the injector duty cycle. I daily it on 9psi on a 57 trim. As soon as I finish reinstalling my water/meth kit I'll be on 12psi. I only rev it to 7200 for reliability reasons.

Did you often rev the engine to the 8200 rpm cut off point?

I surely wasn't being easy on it.. I probably should have turned the limiter down a little but live learn then get huggies..

ACT extreme 6 puck sprung. I would go this route before twin disc. 473 whp 373 torque at 15 psi H23V... never had an issue. It was rated at like 475 ft lbs.

I am surprised your HD you said was slipping at 280 trq odd...

I am a firm believer of ACT over any Competition Clutch single disc setups or exedy or spec...

CC, Spec etc etc if you look at torque ratings and countless threads of the single disc they just cannot hold any power and torque.

ACT rating is like 100 to 175 ft lbs more torque...

I have a CC twin disc now because it was same price at ACT extreme and had few miles on it. 500 hp and 373 trq H23V at 15 psi. I am planing to go more power probably 550 whp or so but. Twin Disc is not as streetable as single ACT extreme. I am in the grey area kinda wish stuck with the ACT exteme. CC twin disc will be more noisy with additional disc. It is also a process to dial in properly to spec via CC instructions with add on pedal stop.

Now given your a F20B even less torque... I wouldn't think twice... ACT extreme... should do you for your power and upgraded power...

It's too late and I don't want to take another chance with a clutch so I went cc twin disc.. it's not a daily driver bye any means so I'm not too concerned about noise/drivability but more so actually holding the power if I do decide to make more down the road..

I guess you could say lazy or gradually increasing boost with rpms.. although it is a rather large turbo also

The ringlands did not let go in this motor.. I don't think the ringlands are a issue if you have minimal back pressure and a good tune.. I think the weak link is the wrist pin area of the pistons and definitely invest in some good valve springs.. that is my advice if you are trying to make power with a stock motor so to speak.. with a good tune and also a good fuel like e85 I think the ringlands shouldn't be your first concern.. Some have made great power with stock blocks and some haven't had great success like me.. this motor had around 100k miles on it and still surprised me with the power it made.. I never babied this motor either it seen the limiter alot..
