Stock B18C1 with a Full-Race Turbo?
What I have is a 94' hatch with a stock GSR. I want to turbo it, but I dont know very much about turbos. The kit that I was looking at is a Full-race stage 3 T3/T67 turbo kit. I have no problem rebuilding the engine. I just dont know what I might need to upgrade besides: pistons, rods, injectors, and ECU....The mods I have now is Greddy Exhaust, Skunk2 Intake Manifold, and AEM cold-air intake.
Help me out!!! I look forward to this new project.

necissito mas informacion.
desired hp?
how much $$$$ to you have??
what will the car be used for? Street, strip, dd with a bit of strip???
If you are doing this for 300hp, you are going overboard. Answer the questions then I'm sure that someone will be able to help you out more.

I want somewhere around 250, but 300 would be great. I would like to run low 12s. Money really isnt a problem ill do what i have to. And it would be for mostly street since the nearst strip is 2 hrs away.

So if you want somewhere around 250 WHP why are you going to buy a turbo kit with a turbo that will support 700 WHP? A stage 1GT kit would suit you infinitely better.

If you only want 300hp that turbo is total overkill, just go with the t3/t04e 50 or 60 trim with the .63 a/r. With the turbo I just suggested you can get over 400hp and will spool fine on a gsr engine. Dont forget to get some good shocks/springs to help out with your traction. GL.
If I were you I would get forged pistons and rods and lower the comp to somewhere between 9-9.5:1. With these internals you can push 400hp later when you decide to turn up the boost.

How much HP do u think that full race turbo that he wants to use will put out?
Do you think thats too much power for someone who is just starting to use turbos?

F-R rates the kit that the t3/t67 turbo comes in as a 620hp kit. For that power level he should sleeve the block. He just said that he only wants 250-300hp. That turbo is over kill plain and simple for what he is looking to do with his car.
And yes I do think that 600hp is a bit much for someone new to turbo'd cars. But hey maybe I'm wrong and he is a very quick learner and a great driver. However, this is really a moot argument as he only wants what he said (250-300hp).

Servion has made around 680 WHP on the standard T3/T67 .63 A/R Stage 5 setup, and 93H22ACX made 730 WHP on a T3/T67 .82 A/R P-trim. So lots.

i think 350-365 is more than enough for a dd street car, had a friend making about 380 on low boost, 1sst and 2nd are just pointless, have to race from a roll and ****
