Default stock B18B, 7-8 Psi, read please.

I'm getting ready to boost my 94 LS. its got 140k on it but it has good compression across the board, and no oil burning. I'm doing a custom setup, to run 7-8 psi. Drag manifold, turbonetics T3/T4 hybrid, 54 trim, .63 A/R. Prob gonna tune it with S-AFC. Since alot of people get turbo kits and what not that run at around 7-8 psi. I was just wondering what kind of numbers I should be expecting out of this setup...

Stock bottom end B18B
ported and polished B18B head
turbonetics T3/T4 turbo 54 trim .63 A/R
Tial 38MM wastegate .5 bar
Johnnyracecar IC, 30x6x2.5"
DSM 450 CC injectors
whatever BOV, doesn't really matter too much.
Dyno tuned with S-AFC

I'm new to boost. Flame if you want, I don't care for negativity, but anybody with some positive opinions, or similar setups/experiences, let me know, thanks in advance guys.

remember to set your goals in HP, not PSI. The amount of boost you run doesn't matter. its the power your making that does.

ehh i was gonna go with the SAFC hack untill i learned of the ignition timing affect of it. it sends timing skyrocketing apparently.. and to be honest, ive invested alot into my car and my turbo set up.. why risk the chance of blowing it and skimping out on the safc hack when for a few more hundred bucks i could get second to none engine management from a hondata.. but thats just my oppinion, its your decision, i just figured i would pitch some 02 cents at you..

^^^^ I was in the same exact boat as this guy stated above.

I had the safc and all but right before I installed my turbo I made the change to uberdata. Best choice I ever made in my opinion.

best advice i can give is to ditch the hack and go with uberdata/hondata. Im not going to say you should go with uberdata because everyone has their opinions on uberdata vs. hondata.

BUT, I will say this.... If you are willing to run the hack on your car, you might as well run uberdata. Yes it may not be as glamorous as hondata, but it sure beats the hell out of the hack.

Yeah i'm the guy that talked him into turbo basically. Well i tried telling him about Uberdata and all that, and i was willing to send him a basemap of a LS P75 ecu with uberdata (does anyone have a good one?) But the thing is my buddy needs to do more research on tuning Uberdata is free, cheap, and VERY effective! its a Good investment (if u even consider it to be one) and with the 200 for a SAFC, u will be a lot better off with a Chip with Uberdata

If I'm not mistaken you can correct the timing by retarding it through the distributor.

yes but thatll effect your timing everywhere and you only want to pull timing up top and in boost

You can retard the timing at the distributor, but that would mean retarded timing out of boost, which is less than desirable. The AFC Hack is outdated now that uberdata can be had for less money, and it controls specific fuel and ignition numbers. You can run 450s with the AFC Hack, but you can run 880+ injectors with uberdata. Do a search and read up on uberdata. The official site is available at http://www.ecimulti.org/uberdata

The AFC Hack just doesn't make sense anymore. (Did it ever?)

well I got someone that can burn me chips(uberdata) but he needs a good basemap for turbo with my application, something a little rich, to slim the chances of detonation. So if anyone has any basemaps for turbo that would be great until I get some kind of better management.
