Default stock b16 turbo numbers?

Sorry guys for the noob post i tried searchin some but didnt find anything really interesting. im very new to the turbo scene i know all of the basic **** and all but im trying to learn more.

I was wondering what stock block/mild head b16's are making on 10-13 PSI and if they can even handle that much psi? i dont really have my mind set on any management systems as of yet so i cant narrow that down for you, but most likely will be going with crome.

so let me know what your guys are putting down and some info on your set up please thanks in advance.

Stock motor should handle 300whp for a while...someone on here just made like ~350whp on a stock b16 at 10psi

so i should be looking at around high 200's then? your set up is better than mine so i wont be seeing that much but damn that is impressive. so your turbo spools at around 5-5.5?

That all depends on your driving habits. If you are leaving the stop lights like they are a christmas tree all the time every day and flogging the car to 100 mph, it won't last long. If you treat it right and don't beat the **** out of it, it can go on forever. We had a local one here in Jville that made 330ish and was driven for 2 years like that.

if you have any concerns about being to rough on the car like others have said, just build some insurance into your kit by limiting the size of the turbo. also a dual stage boost controller could help too, low boost (try and stay in it, i know it can be hard) for the streets, and bump it up when you absolutely need it like the track, or when someone pulls on you

best thing you can do is have tuned very well by someone with knowledge. keep it under 300whp(just for safety/paranoia) and 8000revs and you can beat the **** out of it all you want,,it wont blow unless you're going absolutely crazy with it or theres something wrong with the motor to begin with...cause honestly in nj weve got right now about 7 guys with 350-400whp b16..all stock bottom, just cams, intake manifold, minor porting,,but these guys have good fuel management,..upgraded injectors, fuel pump, custom chipped ecu or standalone like fast,wolf...thats what you mainly have to focus on,tuning and fuel system, run good gas,and be smart..

oh im deffinetly not going to be racing around everywhere i go, although im going to be running 91 octane in it i am planning on taking it up to whitfield and lettin them tune it. im going to keep it around 10-12PSI and will be upgrading the fuel system accordingly. the head will most likely get a mild port/polish job nothing major, an omni power valve train and some ctr cams. i may break into the bottom end later down the road to put some new bearings and studs in and some other little stuff just for peace of mind and stability. i am a pretty controlled driver you know im not out trying to race every car i see, just those egotistical ***** who look at my civic with that good ol "your honda aint ****" face. nothing like it.
