Default sticky street tires (for launching)

well i ordered my 16" te-37s yesterday in gunmetal, with some bridgestone s03's....i heard these are pretty good street tires for launching, i tried to get some drag radials, but they do not make them in 225/45/16...what are some other good tires that are good for launching on the street ? (i still dont expect to have much traction with 17 psi of boost )

azenis sport... good dry/wet and a shitload cheaper than s03's. Course s03's are plain awesome. I really like the way they break away. Always controlled and linear, gives a lot of confidence.

azenis..so far i love mine! sticky like crazy...well at least compared to my **** *** stock tires.
my old tires when i shifted to second i let out the longest and loudest chirp(im not even boosted yet) but now..i cant get a sound from the tires and the car lurches forward on that 1-2 shift really hard.

everybody seems to love their azenis.....i already ordered the s03's if i would have known i would have gone with them just kus they are cheaper, we will see how i like the s03's...my mom has them on her s2k, it can hook pretty good, but i can get stock integra ls wheels+shitty continental tires to hook if i get them hot enough

ohh well i run nitto nt555R drag radials on my te37s, but yeah they dont have a wider one, im running 205-45-16, have been for about 7 months on all four tires, still got lots of tread, they seem to only eat them up when i launch and canyon race and get them nice and hot

For street tires run Azenis! They will give you good lateral grip as well as great dry straight line traction, for a street tire.

ya, silica compound and generous (relatively) water evacuation treads considering the large surface contact patch. Maybe not capable of the higher wet traction speeds of the s03 but who takes 90's in the rain at 40mph? Even if you do, you learn after your second axle replacement

Ok, I guess Im gonna have to chime in here.
Sorry if some of you guys are getting tired of me saying this but.....

I run 205/50/15 Azenis. I managed a 2.006 60'. This was also the first time racing on the turbo, and also the first time on those tires. With more seat time, I can definetly get 1.9 60's.

azenis tires have good wet traction? i heard differently. thats one reason i wasnt considering gettin those tires. i heard they werent that great in the rain. its winter season again.. i wouldnt wanna slip and slide on the roads.

grrrrrr.
AZENIS have good wet traction!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you wont slip and slide anywhere, unless you are racing like a banchi then of course you would crash(that would happen with any tire)

buwhahahaa.
i wasnt really mad... just over exagerating, cause thats all i ever hear. azenis have crap wet traction.... no they dont!
i have had them since july and been through plenty of rain. i now feel confident in my car knowing I can stop and go around corners normally and spirited unlike before on my **** *** stock michilens.
