I just used 40 amp fuse and stock wiring. Kept it simple. But if you want to use a relay, or hard wire it to the battery with an inline fuse, that's fine too. This is a case where it's more about preference.. (At least to me, anyway). But you'll burn out the 30 amp in no time with that fan.

I've been running a 30amp this whole time no issues =/. But I use a relay, not the stock wiring. Isnt it like 18G? Definitely not suited for 40 amps.

Post lots of pics for the radiator please. I am going that route in the future but I may end up making the radiator myself with a custom core.

I'm not going to lie to you, I'll probably keep the same 40 amp and go to a relay, it was really just time and access to the car this last year that has prevented me from doing so. The 40 amp worked for me in a simplistic manner, but, now that the car is apart for 2016-2017, I'll attack it this time around with the relay.

Will do man. I plan on taking a lot of pics of the whole process including measurements to help anyone that what's to attempt this setup as well.

Ok I'm going to run a relay for sure then. I already have everything I need to do it in hand anyways. Might as well knock it out while everything is apart.

I got the scirocco radiator mostly mounted today. I took a ridiculously excessive amount of pic for you guys lol. I really wanted to keep the factory hood latch, in order to make the radiator tuck under the latch I had to notch the core support and then I welded in angled steel. I made some aluminum brackets really quick to support the top of the radiator, I will probably make some better ones later on. The whole process should be pretty easy to follow by looking at the pics. Overall I like the way it turned out and it should save some room in the engine bay too

Nice job on the install, I don't think I've ever seen 90deg stock used as a radiator mount before.

Thanks guys.

Got my AEM oil pressure gauge today. Decided to mount it were the cruise control button used to be. I also mounted my wideband and boost gauges in this piece if crap blox cluster mount. It covered 1/2 the temp and fuel gauge witch bugged the crap out of me, so I used a heat gun got it hot and bent the ends in to were you can see all the gauged now lol. The glowshift boost gauge isn't my first choice, but I had it laying around so I decided to use it.

More parts rolling in...
OEM cams seals
OEM cap and rotor
And OEM crv iat sensor, it's threaded and uses the same connector as GSR iat sensor. I plan on mounting it in the charge piping for more accurate iat readings and the threaded body make it really easy to do.

NGK plug wires and a few sets of plugs for tuning.

Picked up a skunk2 radiator cap and a 100 pack of locking nuts for the intake and exhaust manifolds.

I have a lot to do! Updates soon.

Got the radiator fan and fuel pump hard wired with 10g wire, relays, and inline fuses. All of the connections are crimped, and soldered with heat shrink. Maybe I take too many pics lol.

Awesome man, loving the build and pics.

This may sound so noobish and retarded, I understand the larger circular cap in the back is fuel pump hangar assembly, what is the smaller one for?

Thanks man.

Honestly I'm not sure lol I didn't take the time to take off that cover. Maybe it's for the fuel gauge sender?

yup thats what it is. not sure why the integra has a separate meter but the smaller cap is for the fuel metering unit.

My JDM GSR swap showed up today from hmotors. It was packaged really well and looks good from the outside...

LSD FTW

I freaked out when I pulled the plugs! They are all oil fouled and there is oil onto of the pistons. I called Steve at hmotors right away and he said this is normal because they do a "wet" compression and leak down test. He assured me its perfectly normal and fine, he also said it compression tested at 240 on all cylinders.

IDK these plugs look like they have been burning oil for a while to me. I'm seriously questioning the health of this engine...

What do you guys think? Opinions?

They just look old and if they did compression test with fresh oil its not been burned off and probably just coated them with the carbon from head and piston.

Great idea with the heat gun on the cluster mount! I will have to try this on mine cause it's been bothering me too.

Yeah the more I actually think about it the better I feel about it lol. Thanks for the input.

Thanks tegger93. Yeah that bugged me. I could have probably done a cleaner job, but it's good enough for me lol.

Don't get me wrong Steve has been great, he has excellent customer service imo. I just did not know they did a wet compression check and freaked out prematurely when I saw the plugs lol. I'm sure this engine is solid.
