I think perhaps you should check out what the class rules are and if you'll be competitive period. If you're just doing brackets or racing for fun... do either. Boost = NA.

choose a class you are interested in competing in, look at other cars in the class, you be the judge if you can be competitive in that class.

I thought this was a TECH forum, not a emotional support forum. Pick your own goals, then we can help fine-tune a setup you decide on.

yea id think youd be better competing in turbo. the reason being is that the majority of the competitors in all motor class are either going to be k series or h series (i would think) and be putting down higher numbers and more torque, and im assuming you dont want to gut your chassis.
i know a guy whos spent over $9k on his all motor (aebs sleeves, 85mm 14:1 cp pistons, carillo rods, port and polish, etc) and hes only putting down 235ish whp, he is going to put itb's on and hope for 260ish whp. but ive spent around $9k on my motor as well, and it will handle 600+whp. whereas you can spent $4000 and under and get 400ish+ whp with a boosted setup.
if you had a hatchback and it wasnt your daily driver, i would say do all motor. but since you have a coupe and it seems like its driven often, youd have to stay 11.5:1 compression or lower if you were doing all motor and youd only make around 200-220ish whp assuming you had all supporting mods. i just dont think that 220whp is enough to move anything other than a half gutted hatch down the track fast enough.. *puts on flame suit*
